Mainly used in the production of phthalate esters and aliphatic binary ester plasticizers such as dioctyl phthalate, dioctyl azelaic acid, and dioctyl sebacate, respectively, as the main plasticizer and cold resistant auxiliary plasticizer for plastics, defoamer, dispersant, mineral processing agent, and petroleum additive. It is also used in printing and dyeing, paint, film, and other fields.

This product is produced using the condensation low-pressure hydrogenation process. The product meets the quality indicators of Type I in the national standard "GB/T6818-2019 Industrial Octanol (2-ethylhexanol)": 2-ethylhexanol content ≥ 99.6%, color ≤ 10 degrees, moisture ≤ 0.1%, density 0.831-0.833g/cm³.
